FUNDACIÓ FORMACIÓ I TREBALL

Fundació Formació i Treball , created by Diocesan Caritas of Barcelona in 1986, becomes a foundation in 1992.

Since then, the constant growth we have been through within the social industry has obliged us to change our premises several times.

Today, due to the urban changes in the area known as Barcelona 22@ together with the termination of our renting contract obliges us to leave our actual premises.

Thanks to the Sant Adria's town council together with its Mayor -Mr. Jesús M. Canga Castaño- we have reached to an agreement in which they let us a plot of land for 50 years In which we can started the construction of our new premises. This site is at Ramon Llull St. off Sant Ramon de Penyafort St.

The building is only possible thanks to the economical support of different enterprises and particulars, building societies and other institutions and local authorities involved in the project.

Still, the patrons of the foundation have started a fundraising campaign to particulars and enterprises to find donors to help the building of our new premises. The campaign called "collaborate with one sq. metre" intends to arise the enough funds to finish the jobs with no economical worries for this, donations of 100 Euros per each sq. metre patronised are expected.

This new building, with more than nine thousand square metres built, will guarantee room enough to develop our activities in a more rational and efficient manner while at the same time will enable us to grow, create more new jobs and give a continuity to our social tasks.
